I've decided that it is not cruel for the Creator to let us go through challenges or difficulties in our lives. For some reason the human race believes that the "good life" is an easy and painless life. With out challenges in life one would never know what they are capable of. It's the essence of a challenge for the challenge to be met. We don't have to be perfect in meeting the challenges or difficulties in life. After all mistakes are how we all grow anyway. We simply can keep moving forward in life. Even if the pace is slower than some or our forward motion may have a limp; don't stop going forward in life.
The Creator promises that He would always provide a way of escape before things reach the point of what we cannot bear. We can trust in Him and stick with where He may have us in the challenges He's ALLOWING to come our way.
In the last book of the Bible, Revelations the promises are for those who OVERCOME. A recent favorite saying of mine is, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. . . It's about learning to dance in the rain."
It's dance time!

Some friends and I were recently talking about he book of Job. We were noticing the verse where Job basically said "Naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I shall return."
We talked about suffering.
I remember thinking this thought: When we are angry at God because of all the suffering in our life we are guilty of believing that God owes us something. We came into the world with nothing and we will leave with nothing. God doesn't owe us a comfortable life. Every good thing that we have is a gift from him - not something that we have a right to have.
Of course, my heart has a hard time accepting this because a part of me believes that I am the most important being in the universe and if something makes me unhappy it must be bad!
God give us perspective when we go through tough times!
I definitely had the book of Job in mind when I wrote this Jon!!
One really cool thing about that story in the Bible though was that God gave Job back everything he had lost. . . TWO TIMES the amount!!! So God may take away to allow us to grow, but He's definitely into giving back to His kids in a way that they can't even imagine. Everything is for our good :)
Hope all is going well with you and Julianna!!! Miss you guys!
